Can be relaxation, deep tissue, or prenatal. 60 minutes is enough time to work on one or two issues thoroughly (e.g. neck pain and lower back pain). This is not enough time for a thorough treatment with multiple areas of concern (e.g. neck pain and leg pain and shoulder pain, etc.). This is enough time for a full body relaxation massage, but not a full body deep tissue massage.
Most appointments including side-lying prenatal treatments are booked for 60 minutes.
For most people, 90 minutes is enough time for a thorough, deep tissue massage with several areas of concern. Most people will get a full body massage in 90 minutes, however some clients will use all 90 minutes to work on only a few areas if they are particularly tight. These clients usually know who they are and book accordingly.
This is a good option for those looking for quick relief in one area (such as arms/forearms or neck). This is not a good option for those with large areas of concern (such as neck and shoulder pain). A full body massage on an adult cannot be completed in 30 minutes. A full body massage for a child can be completed in this time. Most of my clients who are children will book 30 minutes.
This is also an option popular with kids, or those who are running short on time. A full body massage on an adult cannot be completed in 45 minutes.
Cupping can be added to any treatment. The time you've booked includes your initial assessment and treatment. To help everything run smoothly, please arrive a few minutes early with your intake forms completed—these can be filled out online when you book your appointment. Completing your intake and consent forms ahead of time ensures we can make the most of your session. Also, to respect everyone's schedule, we are unable to extend appointment times for late arrivals.
